Act for ecological justice!

Earth, air, and water – essential elements of life that humanity seems to take for granted, and to which it has caused enormous harm. These are the central concerns of KAIROS’ work for ecological justice, work that is rooted in hope and in the belief that we change our ways and live in right relationship with all of creation. We believe that we have a responsibility to the oikoumene, the whole inhabited world. We focus on the impacts of mining on people and the environment, on corporate accountability for these impacts, on the health, sustainability, and accessibility of water systems, and on climate change. For the next three years, our re-energize campaign focuses on the links between our addiction to fossil fuels, ecological degradation, and human rights abuses.  Want to know a little more about what we mean by ecological justice?
