16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence
Acts of Activism. Stories of Transformation.
Every year, from November 25 to December 10, people around the world unite for the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence – a global campaign to end violence against women, girls and gender-diverse people.
This year, KAIROS joins partners and communities in lifting the acts of activism – both small and large – that spark transformation. These are the everyday gestures of resistance and the bold collective actions that challenge injustice, reclaim voice and build pathways to gender justice and peace.
Throughout the 16 Days, we will share daily reflections – blogs and videos – from women peacebuilders and land defenders, Indigenous women, migrant women, gender-diverse people and male allies. Their stories speak of courage, healing, leadership and the power of community to ignite change.
Together, their voices explore questions at the heart of transformation:
- What does activism look like in our daily lives?
- How do small acts of resistance reshape our sense of power, purpose and possibility?
We invite you to return each day to engage with these reflections, stand in solidarity and celebrate those who continue to challenge injustices, champion human rights, build sustainable peace and defend nature while forging a world free of gender-based violence.
Come back often. Be inspired. Join the transformation.
