As Lent approaches, KAIROS invites you to reflect your imprint on the earth and all who share it with us.While we have not produced a Lenten resource this year, some “vintage” KAIROS resources can, in the spirit of  sustainability, be recycled and used again: simply ignore the specific dates and follow along for the 40 days of Lent in our 2010 Carbon Fast for Lent or invite your youth group (or any other interested community) to participate in our Power Down Day energy fast.

Some of our member churches/organizations  and  the global ecumenical movement have also provided resources connecting the Lenten journey with ecological justice. Focussing on themes such as food security and water, these resources highlight the inter-connectivity of ecological justice and the struggle to protect human rights in a resource extraction economy.

Click the links below to access these resources and see how you can incorporate them into your personal or community time of reflection this Lent.
