“Ruth Cruikshank called to say she is retiring from KAIROS. I remember her being active with Ten Days and at the start of KAIROS many years ago. Her name is synonymous with KAIROS in this community. She was always so willing, capable and generous at all levels.” – Jim Lindsay, Dufferin KAIROS leader

“Ruth and I have occasionally crossed KAIROS paths over many years. She’s always warm, welcoming and cheerful. As well as working on KAIROS issues, she knows the importance of food for developing fellowship and she readily volunteers in the kitchen. Thank you, Ruth, for your KAIROS work and companionship. Best wishes on your retirement!” -Elizabeth Snell, KAIROS Great Lakes-St. Lawrence co-chair
