With sorrow and utmost respect, KAIROS acknowledges the passing of the Honorable Murray Sinclair. We send our deepest condolences to his family members.

Murray Sinclair was a man of vision, dignity and kindness. Justice and wisdom shone through his leadership as Chief Commissioner of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, and throughout his distinguished career as a judge and senator. We will forever carry his wisdom and move forward with his legacy that helped shape us. He has showed us that the path of truth and reconciliation is not an easy one and requires continual re-commitment. However, there is a path and he has given us a map. We are forever grateful for his wisdom and leadership, which have shaped us and will continue to do so. May we continue on this path in a good way and nurture the seeds he has planted.

We wish you good journey, Mazina Giizhik (the One Who Speaks of Pictures in the Sky).
