I live in Port Moody, BC (~25km east of Vancouver) and go to a Catholic parish in Coquitlam. Over the past few years, I have worked with Vancouver Kairos, along with Vancouver Greenfaith, Protect the Planet Stop TMX, and a Direct Action Prayer Circle, to take faithful action on ecological justice, especially in opposing the Transmountain Pipeline Expansion. I have degrees in Engineering and Education and currently work as a teacher. I am eager to strengthen the connections we have within our regional Kairos network and to build new connections with other communities. I hope to inspire people of faith to take action for a better world and to inspire faith in people of action.

Shawn Sandford Beck (kairosprairiesnorth@gmail.com)
The Rev. Shawn Sanford Beck is the Recruitment Officer for St. Andrew’s College in Saskatoon. He has been a friend of KAIROS for many years, and was a co-coordinator of the Saskatoon KAIROS collective, as well as an occasional contributor to Spirited Reflections.
Shawn has worked in pastoral ministry, social justice chaplaincy, and theological education. He has written and reflected extensively on ecological and interfaith spirituality in various contexts and in his blog.
He has been featured on Tapestry and in the United Church’s magazine Broadview.
Shawn looks forward to re-engaging with the vital ministry of KAIROS, and brings the justice-driven mandate of St. Andrew's College with him.

I am Debby (Coombs) Dandy, from Brandon Manitoba on Treaty II territory, traditional land of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Ojibway, Dakota, and the homeland of the Red River Metis. I acted as Chair over 15 years ago, and returned to the position with the Northwestern Ontario Manitoba KAIROS group this year. I first got involved with social justice with Ten Days for Global Justice in the United Church before the formation of KAIROS. I have been active in raising awareness about environmental justice locally and globally, Reconciliation with Indigenous people, local work to support vulnerable persons and address homelessness, and transition of incarcerated individuals to the community. I am grateful to those in KAIROS who have done research, created campaigns, and act as a resource to community action.
I am a retired civil servant, a grandmother, and a dog lover.

Greetings! I am originally from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan but have lived in Ontario for 25 years. I work full-time as a freelance editor and translator in Barrie. Working from home makes it easier for me to pursue my passion for social justice. I enjoy working with like-minded people in Simcoe County KAIROS, the Barrie Action Circle for Amnesty International, and Développement et Paix in my home parish.

It has been a privilege for me to be involved with KAIROS, for personal learning and for relationships with people who are social justice advocates. I was born and raised in Alberta, have lived in Newmarket Ontario for 27 years and am a retired physiotherapist. I lead up the Global Justice Team at Holy Cross Lutheran Church and am on the Board of Directors of Citizens for Public Justice. I look forward to continuing my support for the ministries of KAIROS: Canadian Ecumenical Justice Initiatives.
