MCC Alberta is hosting a Blanket Exercise (BE) Facilitator Training event at Camp Valaqua. The BE is an interactive workshop teaching the (often) unknown history of Indigenous rights in Canada. Alfredo Barahona from KAIROS will lead this training on April 22-23.
All ages welcome! No previous experience with the BE necessary and accommodations are provided.
There is no registration fee but donations are welcome to help cover costs.
Feel free to arrive between 6:00-6:45pm to settle in. Camp Valaqua is located at Township Rd 300, Water Valley, AB.
