Online ecumenical meetings to support migrant workers
An invitation to all churches and church representatives
More and more migrant farm workers are arriving every day and they need our support this year more than ever. We are all feeling the stress of year 2 of the pandemic and migrant workers – without family support, in a culture not their own, often facing language barriers – are particularly vulnerable.
Please join us at an online Ecumenical Meeting to Support Migrant Workers. Several churches and church networks are already supporting farm and other migrant workers. This is a call to churches to learn more about the workers and some of the incredible initiatives that are in the works. Find out how to help your migrant worker neighbours by supporting existing networks, starting your own initiative, or joining in national advocacy.
There will be time to share what you are doing and to ask questions of other churches and KAIROS Migrant Justice Program Coordinator, Connie Sorio. Choose the location or date that suits you best and register to attend. All are welcome!
