Lysistrata and the Temple of Gaia re-imagines the classic Greek comedy by Aristophanes as a sex strike, not to stop a war, but to save a planet.
Set in a future world where huge adaptations to massive climate changes have become the accepted norm, Lysistrata and her friends desperately invoke the Goddess Gaia, Creator and Mother of Earth – and the goddess appears! But she is furious at the destruction of her beautiful planet. She threatens the entire human race with a sudden, watery death unless the women can persuade their men to become Earth Defenders. The men refuse. A sex strike ensues.
