KAIROS is excited to welcome some new voices this month. First of all, please join us in welcoming Murray Pruden as KAIROS’ first Director of Indigenous Programs, a new role that is part of KAIROS’ senior leadership team. Murray is no stranger to KAIROS, having served previously as Steering Committee Chair. “We are delighted to have Murray on board as the Director of Indigenous Programs, making a significant contribution to shaping programs and partnerships including the KAIROS Blanket Exercise and Indigenous rights advocacy, as well as helping KAIROS as an organization move forward in the ongoing work of decolonization and reconciliation,” says Leah Reesor-Keller, KAIROS Transitional Executive Director. Murray started with KAIROS mid-April. His start date was quickly followed by Brandi Bilodeau, who is KAIROS’ new Indigenous Rights Coordinator. Welcome Murray and Brandi! We are also thrilled to report that KBE Indigenous Advisory Circle met for the first time recently. |
