Hello Friends,
I’m Tania Principe, and I’m honoured to serve as the new Executive Director of KAIROS.
As the season shifts, we are surrounded by change—the colours of the trees, the gathering of the harvest, the cooling of the air. Autumn invites us to pause, reflect, and give thanks for what sustains us.
I carry deep gratitude: for the land that nourishes us, for Indigenous nations whose wisdom guides us, for partners around the world who keep hope alive in the face of struggle, and for you—our community—whose support makes this work possible.
This is a season to notice the abundance we hold, and also the seeds we are planting for what is yet to come.
KAIROS, too, is in a season of transformation. Soon, we will take root as an independent, stand-alone organization. This is more than an administrative change—it is a renewal. A chance to grow stronger, to carry forward our legacy with fresh energy, and to imagine boldly what is possible when people of faith and conscience join together for justice.
At the heart of KAIROS is a simple, powerful truth: transformation begins with people.
It begins with women building peace in conflict zones, with youth demanding climate action, with Indigenous communities defending water and land, with churches and partners standing in solidarity.
Now more than ever, when authoritarianism and autocracy are on the rise, people-centred movements are the antidote. They remind us that justice is never given—it is claimed, nurtured, and defended by communities who refuse to be silenced. Real change rises up, rooted in courage, relationship, and love for one another and the Earth.
As we move through this season of harvest and into our own organizational transformation, I invite you to journey with us. Let us gather the abundance of what we have built together, and let us sow new seeds of justice, reconciliation, and hope.
Your support makes this possible. Every gift—whether $50, $100, or whatever you are able—helps strengthen this movement for human rights, for climate justice, for peace. Together, we can ensure KAIROS not only endures but flourishes in this new chapter. From my heart to yours—thank you. Thank you for your trust, your solidarity, and your commitment to the work of KAIROS. The road ahead will not be easy but is full of possibility, and I am so grateful to walk it with you.
